You can now make your entry to Pirkka Cycling in our web store. For our foreign guests who dont have Finnish bank account we have a special offer. You can make entries by email toimisto(at)pirkankierros.fi and pay the entry fees either beforehand or at the starting place. In every case, we observe the date when your registration has arrived, although the actual payment can happen also at the starting place.
There are some changes in routes and series:
Pirkka´s Tour 217km average speed groups with rotating paceline:
- 36 km/h group drives without named leaders
- 34 km/h group drives longer route via Parkano, overall lenght 255km. All participants lead the peloton by turns (must be familiar and able to ride in rotating paceline)
- 32 km/h two groups, first one (32A) drives unlike others along the Karhentie and Viitapohjantie. Overall lenght same 217km
- 30 km/h two groups
- 28 km/h two groups
Cravel Grinding along the Classic Tour
Special opportunity to drive with cyclocross or mountain bikes. GPS-marked route is app. 170 km long, rest stops and technical service via Classic Tour are available. Very unofficial group ride for those who want to make it little bit harder.. We are testing new ideas and sending little group for gravel roads. Ask more information via email.
Around the Lake Pyhäjärvi
40 km Pirkka´s Pyhä has challenges because of the tramway constructions in Tampere. The final route will be published only a few days before the event.
